Sports Injury
Sports Injuries are very common and can be quite devastating. There is a degree of risk playing some sports and if you just slip and sprain your ankle you will not be entitled to compensation. However there are cases where you can make a claim. If, for instance, you were using some faulty equipment, or the playing surface was badly maintained and this caused the accident then you may be entitled to make a personal injury claim. You may also have been a spectator and in the public viewing area and because of badly maintained grounds or seating area you may have suffered an injury. Making a successful personal injury compensation claim, you would need to prove that another person was responsible for your personal injury (in this case, the owner of the sports facility). As soon as the accident occurs you should report the accident to the staff on the day of the accident, and see if you have any witnesses. Also taking photographs would also help.
If you have an accident whilst playing or watching sport, which was not your fault, then you could be entitled to claim compensation.
