Aberystwyth Accident Claim

Aberystwyth is a popular seaside resort on the west coast of Wales, in the county of Ceredigion. As well as the beach and Pier areas, tourists attractions include Constitution Hill, which is accessed by a either a short electric railway ride to the top or a longer, more rewarding trek around the outside. From the summit the views are outstanding, stretching across much of Cardigan Bay and beyond. Other attractions include the Commodore cinema, museum, and castle ruins.

Aberystwyth has a local population of approximately 12,000, which is boosted during term time by the 9,000 students who attend the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. Commonly referred to simply as Aber, the town is a lively and vibrant place, especially at night where the main clubs, Yokos and Pier Pressure, are nearly always full. The Pier itself is a complex of various establishments all operating under the same name, with a video rental shop, arcade, ice cream parlour, restaurant, snooker hall, bar and nightclub all under the same roof.

Aberystwyth is also home to the famous National Library of Wales, which houses many historic documents and artifacts, and in fact has access to every book published in the United Kingdom. The University campus is located half way up the main hill, and is home to the world’s first ever International Politics department, which was opened in 1919, and is recognised today as one of the top schools in the country. In 2006 the new Politics building was opened, which is hoped will further strengthen its already fantastic reputation. The Old College is situated in the main town, and handles various departments including many administrative services. Nearby Llanbadarn campus also houses many students, and is commonly used to house termly internal/external examinations.Aberystwyth Town FC compete in the Welsh Premier League and have enjoyed mixed success over the years, having competed in Europe in 1999 they have failed to finish high enough to qualify to repeat the achievement ever since.

If you are unfortunate enough to suffer a personal injury or accident whilst in the town of Aberystwyth, you may be entitled to make a claim for compensation. Many people are unaware of the fact that in the event of suffering an accident in which someone else was at least partly to blame, it is actually your legal and civil right to claim. Many firms offer their clients a no win, no fee deal, which means that you are not obliged to pay for the services of your lawyers regardless of whether or not your claim is successful; in the event you win, the lawyers claim their fees back from the defending party, and if you lose, they simply do not get paid. This immediately gives the claimant an advantage, as they know that the lawyer will not take their case on unless they are fully confident they can win it. This means that firms who simply quota fill, and try to get as many clients as possible without regard to the validity of the claims, will not be able to operate.

Many firms offer a free initial consultation before deciding whether or not to take on your case, so there really is nothing to lose. You will get to keep every penny of your compensation, which is made up of damages referring to the initial pain and suffering caused by the accident, as well as any medical fees/treatment costs incurred, and any loss of earnings encountered as an indirect result of the injury. The lawyers at Accident Consult are waiting to assess your claim today!
