Crane Accident
Construction accidents are quite common and if you have been a victim you may well be entitled to compensation. The law that governs construction safety was strengthened in 1993 by the introduction of the European Union regulations. By law, according to the The Health and Safety Executive (HSE), regulations states that employers have to:
- Ensure a safe place of work.
- Ensure the access to and from the place of work is safe and free from obstruction
- Ensure scaffolding is erected under competent supervision
- Employ physical precautions or provide equipment that will arrest falls
And the list goes on. Basically if you have had an accident on a construction site that was not your fault and was caused by the liability of your employer then you are entitled to sue for compensation.
