Personal Injury; FTC Does not want Lawyers to have Rules on Advertising?

The Federal Trade Commission, part of our own government does not want State Government to restrict rules on advertising. Now listen to this. The FTC’s reasoning is that rules on lawyers who advertise for clients with personal injury complaints might cause decreased competition in the market place and mean higher fees and commissions for the plaintiffs.

The business owners are completely fried due to excessive lawsuits from pretend faker plaintiffs who would rather sue than get an honest job. The FTC has even written a detailed letter of criticism to the state court system and put their obvious skewed perspective in writing. Why you ask? Well I guess it is because most of the fine folks in government (?) who work at the Federal Trade Commission are Lawyers?

Obviously the state wants to stop the misrepresentation and leading advertising used by attorneys; If you think you may have possibly been injured in an accident, work related incident, even driving to or from work, then get the money you deserve today! Call the Law Offices of Goldigger and Sons Now!

So far New York, New Jersey, Alabama and other states are being over run by bogus personal injury lawsuits that are tying up the courts and killing small businesses. The Federal Trade Commission in my opinion has no jurisdiction here and maybe we ought to shut down their bantering and PR media hyping too. Consider this in 2006.
