Conwy Personal Injury Claims
Conwy is a county borough in North Wales. It is a walled town what is meant by this is there is a circuit of walls surrounding the town that are over three quarters of a mile long and guarded by no less than 22 towers.
Conwy castle and town walls were built on the instructions of Edward I between 1283 and 1289 as part of his conquest of the principality of Wales.
Conwy is also home to Conwy Suspension Bridge, which spans the River Conwy next to the castle. It was completed in 1826 and replaced the ferry. The bridge is now open to pedestrians only along with the toll-keeper’s house, which are both now in the care of the National Trust.
The Smallest House in Great Britain can also be found in Conwy, on the quay. It is in the Guinness Book of Records with dimensions of 3.05 metres x 1.8 metres. It was lived in since the 1500's (it was even inhabited by a family at one point) and lived in until 1900 when the owner Robert Jones who was a 6ft fisherman was forced to move out on the grounds of hygiene. The rooms were too small for him to stand up in fully. The house is still owned by his family today.
Conwy, like all UK towns and cities, can leave you liable to accidents. These accidents come in the form of personal injury accidents. A personal injury accident that is caused by someone else that isn’t your fault could mean you are entitled to compensation.
It is your civil and legal right to claim for compensation after an accident that wasn’t your fault.
